RWANDA DEFENCE FORCE LIBERATION CUP TOURNAMENT 2025 UNDERWAY
Kigali, 25 April 2025
The Rwanda Defence Force (RDF) Liberation Cup Tournament edition 2025 is underway in various locations where RDF Units/Formations are deployed, with teams engaged in four sports disciplines, including Football, Basketball, Volleyball and Netball.
The Liberation Cup Tournament 2025 consists of 17 teams from RDF Units/Formations divided into 4 groups.
The tournament, organised in the form of a championship applying national and international sports rules, will culminate during the celebrations of the 31st Liberation Day, with trophies, medals, and awards presented to the winning teams.
The Liberation Cup Tournament is an RDF annual inter-force competition organized to serve as a platform for formations/Units to showcase their physical/athletic skills while also strengthening inter-unit relations and over all force cohesion.
