RDF Chief of Defence Staff hosts Sri Lanka Armed Forces delegation

The Rwanda Defence Force Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), Gen MK Mubarakh today received at RDF Headquarters, Kimihurura, a delegation of students and faculty members from the Sri Lanka Defence Services Command and Staff College led by Commodore ( Brig Gen) Nalida Dissanayake who is in Rwanda for a study tour from 28 July to 08 August 2025.
While addressing the senior officers, the CDS emphasised that their visit underscores the growing ties between the two nations as well as warm and increasing cooperation between SRI LANKA Armed Forces and RDF. He added that Rwanda and Sri Lanka enjoy a cordial and collaborative relationship grounded on mutual respect, shared values, and strong commitment in education and defence capacity building.
The head of delegation, Brig Gen Nalida Dissanayake expressed gratitude to the RDF for facilitating their visit and said they were enriched with experiences and lessons learnt gained during their tour in different Government institutions and Defence Agencies.
