ZIGAMA CSS GENERAL ASSEMBLY APPROVES BUSINESS PLAN FOR THE YEAR 2022

ZIGAMA CSS General Assembly members convened today at RDF Headquarters, Kimihurura. The General Assembly discussed and approved ZIGAMA CSS 2022 Business Plan.
The 35th General Assembly was chaired by Honorable Minister of Defence, Maj Gen Albert Murasira and attended by the Minister of Justice Dr Emmanuel Ugirashebuja, Chief of Defence Staff, Gen Jean Bosco Kazura; as well as service chiefs and heads of security organs; and selected list of members.
According to the approved Business Plan for the year 2022, ZCSS targets to increase its Gross Income to 69.9 Billion from 54.2 Billion and its Net Profit to 20.1 Billion from 15.2 Billion.
During the General Assembly key decisions aimed at improving members welfare were taken to include proposals to increase solidarity fund, loans to its members among others.
According to Zigama CSS Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr James Ndahiro all measures are aimed at improving members welfare as core mission for the cooperative. He also emphasised that for members who apply for house loans for the first time, ZCSS maintains a reduced interest rate at 10% for them. “As ZCSS keeps increasing its capacity, members will continue to benefit in different ways’’ he said.
ZIGAMA CSS is a financial cooperative with membership drawn mainly from Security Organs namely Rwanda Defence Force, Rwanda National police, Rwanda Correctional Services, National Intelligence and Security Service and Rwanda Investigation Bureau.
