THE CHIEF OF DEFENCE FORCES OF THE UGANDA PEOPLES' DEFENCE FORCES VISITS RDF HEADQUARTERS

Today, the Uganda People's Defence Forces (UPDF) Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba along with his delegation visited the Rwanda Defence Force Headquarters and were received by Gen MK Mubarakh, the RDF Chief of Defence Staff.
The UPDF delegation and RDF leadership held a bilateral meeting focusing on enhancing the existing bilateral defence cooperation between the two defence forces.
While speaking to the media, Gen Muhoozi underlined that the visit provided an opportunity to discuss ways of enhancing the historical defence cooperation between both armies with a focus on ongoing defence projects including training among other aspects.
Gen Muhoozi, who is in Rwanda since 10th August, also attended the inauguration ceremony of HE Paul Kagame the President of Rwanda and the RDF Commander-in-Chief.
