STUDENTS FROM TRINITY INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY VISIT RDF COMBAT TRAINING CENTER GABIRO

Students of Trinity International Academy school, Nyarutarama, Kigali, today visited the RDF Combat Training Centre Gabiro, in Gatsibo district, Eastern Province.
They were welcomed by Maj Gen Denis Rutaha, Commandant of CTC Gabiro and staff, who briefed them on RDF Ethics and Values and the role of training centers in building a secure and resilient nation.
The students accompanied by the school leadership, participated in a guided tour of the facilities. During the tour, they witnessed impressive demonstrations, including martial arts, obstacle crossing and heliborne operations.
Maj Gen Denis Rutaha, while addressing the students, explained the core ethics and values that guide the Rwanda Defence Force (RDF), emphasizing integrity, patriotism, discipline
and commitment to national unity. Furthermore, he encouraged the students to recognize their vital role as youth in preserving Rwanda’s legacy and ensuring the country remains safe, united, and peaceful.
Queen Liliane, Managing Director of Trinity International Academy, expressed her gratitude to the RDF leadership for accepting their request to visit RDF Combat Training Centre Gabiro. She commended the opportunity given to the students to learn firsthand how the RDF serves the nation with dedication and professionalism.
She noted that the visit provided valuable insights into the critical role played by RDF CTC Gabiro in equipping them to effectively respond to threats, support peacekeeping missions, and contribute to regional stability.
Queen Liliane encouraged students to apply the lessons gained from their visit, emphasizing that academic excellence must be complemented by discipline, and noting that without discipline, true success cannot be achieved.
