STUDENTS FROM KENYA DEFENCE FORCES JOINT COMMAND AND STAFF COLLEGE VISIT RWANDA

A delegation of students, faculty and staff from Kenya Defence Forces Joint Command and Staff College was received today by the Rwanda Defence Force Chief of Defence Staff, Gen Jean Bosco Kazura at the RDF Headquarters, Kimihurura.
The Head of the delegation Brig Gen Joakim Ngure Mwamburi said that the visit was meant to improve students understanding of the socio-economic development process in Rwanda, in addition to Defence and regional integration issues. At the RDF HQ, they were given briefing on the RDF transformation journey since the end of the liberation struggle in 1994.
Their study tour in Rwanda begun yesterday 13 March and will end on 17 March.
Students have so far visited the Kigali Genocide Memorial, Campaign against Genocide Museum.
Today, they also visited Zigama CSS, Military Medical Insurance, Rwanda Military Hospital and will visit RDF Command and Staff College and a few other Government and private institutions.
