Special Representative of the Secretary General in Central African Republic and Head of MINUSCA along with CAR Prime Minister visit Rwandan peacekeepers and local residents in SAM OUANDJA District, CAR.

Today, the Special Representative of the Secretary-General (SRSG) in Central African Republic and Head of MINUSCA, Ms Valentine Rugwabiza along with CAR Prime Minister FĂ©lix MOLOUA and other high officials visited Rwandan peacekeepers (Rwanda Battle Group) deployed in Sam- Ouandja District, 970 Km away from Bangui.
During the visit, they were briefed on the security situation in Sam - Ouandja and thanked MINUSCA Forces and Rwanda Battle group in particular for work done on ground.
They also met with local population of Sam-Ouandja District.
