RWANDAN SECURITY FORCE DONATES FURNITURE TO MOCĂŤMBOA DA PRAIA HEALTH POST
As part of its Civil–Military Cooperation (CIMIC) and Community Policing initiatives, the Rwanda Security Force (RSF-5), deployed in MocĂmboa da Praia, Mozambique, today donated essential furniture to the municipal authorities to support the health post serving the local community.
The donation comprised tables, chairs, medicine shelves, beds and mattresses. These items will help improve the delivery of healthcare services to residents of Philippe Nyusi Village and the neighbouring communities of Josina Machel and Buji.
The handover ceremony was attended by community leaders, local residents, the Task Force Brigade Group 7 Commander, the Police Component Commander and other RSF staff officers.

The President of the Municipal Council of MocĂmboa da Praia, Mrs Helena Bandeira, expressed her appreciation for RSF-5’s continued support in promoting peace and stability in the area. Similarly, Dr Patrice Lourenço PatrĂcio, representing MocĂmboa da Praia Hospital, thanked the Rwandan personnel for their contribution to restoring peace and security in Cabo Delgado Province.
Speaking on behalf of the RSF-5 Commander, CP Bertin Mutezintare, the Police Component Commander, reaffirmed the Force’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with local communities and continuing to support peace, security and stability.
Through such initiatives, RSF-5 continues to engage with local communities, contribute to improving essential public services, and foster trust and cooperation between the security forces and the population.
