RWANDA SECURITY FORCE COMMANDER RECEIVES MOZAMBIQUE DEPUTY ARMY COMMANDER IN MOCĂŤMBOA DA PRAIA

Major General Vincent Gatama, Commander of the Rwanda Security Force (RSF) Joint Task Force, today received Brigadier General Tomás Francisco JoĂŁo Mponha, Deputy Army Commander of the Mozambique Armed Forces (FADM), in MocĂmboa da Praia.
The visit aimed to jointly review the security situation in Cabo Delgado, familiarise the FADM Deputy Army Commander whose office was recently relocated from Pemba to MocĂmboa da Praia with RSF leadership, and reaffirm the strong cooperation between the two forces in the fight against terrorism in the province.
During their discussions, the two commanders focused on enhancing operational coordination and information sharing.
Brigadier General Tomás Francisco appreciated the RSF for the support provided to the people of Cabo Delgado in the fight against terrorism.
