RWANDA AVIATION UNIT UNDER UNMISS DECORATED WITH UN PEACE KEEPING MEDAL

Juba, 20 August 2021

Rwanda peacekeepers Aviation Unit 9 (RAU9) serving under United Nation Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) were awarded with UN peace keeping medals in recognition of their service in support of the UNMISS mandate. 

The ceremony held in South Sudan, Juba on 20 August 2021 was presided over by Lt Gen Shailesh Sadashiv TINAIKAR, the UNMISS Force Commander.

He conveyed his sincere gratitude to Rwanda Aviation Unit that plays a critical role to the success of the UNMISS mandate.
