Rwanda Air Force Officers and Airmen graduate in Logistics Science and Management
Ten [10] Officers and thirty one [31] Airmen from Rwanda Air Force graduated with ordinary and advanced Diploma in Logistics Science and Management, respectively. The officers’ course took a total duration of one year while that of airmen took two years. The courses were conducted by Instructors from Hindustan College of Engineering (India) at the Rwanda Air Force (RAF) Training Facility in Kicukiro, Kigali.
The graduation ceremony was presided over by the Chief of General Staff (CGS) Gen James KABAREBE. It was attended by among others, the Army Chief of Staff Lt Gen Charles KAYONGA, the Air Force Chief of Staff Lt Gen Charles MUHIRE, Senior Staff Officers at the Defence Forces Headquarter, instructors and the representative from Hindustan College of Engineering.
In his remarks, the CGS congratulated the officers and airmen for successful completion of the course. He also congratulated the Instructors from Hindustan College for their dedication and commitment. He pointed out that knowledge gained will be useful both for the individuals and the institution they serve adding that it will uplift the standards and capacity of Rwanda Air Force in terms of routine air operations. He urged the graduands to put to use the knowledge and skills they acquired for the good of the Service.
Kicukiro Training Facility trains Air Force officers and airmen in Logistics Management; Computer; Preparatory Air Defence; Basic Meteorology and languages. The school started in 2005.
