RDF LEADERSHIP HOSTS APR FC TO CELEBRATE HISTORIC TREBLE-WINNING SEASON
The Rwanda Defence Force (RDF) Chief of Defence Staff, Gen MK Mubarakh today hosted APR FC players, technical staff, and supporters at a cocktail reception held at the Senior Officers’ Mess, Kimihurura.
The event, attended by the Army Chief of Staff, the Reserve Force Chief of Staff, and other senior RDF officers, was organized to honour APR FC’s outstanding achievements during the 2025/2026 season. The club made history by winning three major trophies the BK Premier League title, the Peace Cup, and the Super Cup completing a remarkable treble-winning campaign.

In his remarks, General Mubarakh described the reception as a gesture of appreciation for the team’s exceptional performance and commitment throughout the season.
“I thank all of you for the dedication and commitment you demonstrated,” said General Mubarakh. “It is because of your hard work, unity, and determination that we celebrate this success today. You have shown remarkable loyalty and resilience. Despite the challenges encountered along the way, you remained united through both victories and difficult moments, consistently demonstrating patience, perseverance, and a strong team spirit.” he said.

The reception provided an opportunity for RDF leadership, players, technical staff, and supporters to reflect on the club’s historic accomplishments and celebrate a season that will be remembered as one of the most successful in APR FC’s history.
