RDF INFANTRY BRIGADE COMPLETES ADVANCED INFANTRY TRAINING
The Rwanda Defence Force (RDF) 507 Infantry Brigade has successfully completed a five-month Advanced Infantry Brigade Training (AIBT) at the Combat Training Centre Gabiro in Gatsibo District. The training was designed to enhance the knowledge, skills, and operational capabilities of infantry personnel, enabling them to effectively execute infantry tasks and accomplish RDF missions.
The graduation ceremony was officiated by the Chief of Defence Staff, Gen MK Mubarakh, on behalf of the Commander-in-Chief of the RDF, His Excellency President Paul Kagame. In his remarks, Gen MK Mubarakh congratulated the graduates on successfully completing the course and commended their dedication, discipline, and perseverance throughout the training. He encouraged them to maintain the same spirit of professionalism and excellence in the execution of their duties.

He reminded the graduates of the guidance consistently provided by the President of the Republic of Rwanda and Commander-in-Chief of the RDF, His Excellency Paul Kagame, who has emphasized that military training prepares soldiers to endure challenging conditions and undertake demanding tasks that require the highest standards of physical fitness, mental resilience, and professional competence.
He further stressed that soldiers must continuously strive to achieve maximum results with the limited resources available while accomplishing mission objectives through discipline, innovation, and the efficient use of available resources.
The CDS also commended the leadership of the Combat Training Centre Gabiro, particularly the instructors, for their unwavering commitment to developing the knowledge, skills, and leadership capabilities of the trainees. He noted that their dedication continues to produce competent leaders who are well prepared to serve the Rwanda Defence Force and the nation.
