RDF INFANTRY BRIGADE COMPLETES ADVANCED COURSE

An RDF Infantry Brigade has successfully completed a four-month Advanced Infantry Training course at the Basic Military  Training Centre (BMTC) in Nasho, Kirehe District.

The ceremony was presided over by the RDF Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General MK Mubarakh.

In his address, the CDS congratulated the graduates on completing the course. He emphasised the importance of such training, which prepares them to defend the nation’s territorial integrity and respond to any emerging threats.

He also encouraged them to apply the knowledge and skills gained throughout the training in the execution of their assigned duties.

Furthermore, he urged them to maintain discipline as a central factor in achieving good performance in all fields.

The training encompassed a variety of subjects, including marksmanship, tactics, command and control, martial arts, physical fitness, and heliborne operations.
