RDF HAND OVER A NEWLY CONSTRUCTED HOUSE TO WIDOW

Today, as part of the Defence and Security Citizen Outreach Programme 2024, the Rwanda Defence Force (RDF) in collaboration with various partners handed over a newly constructed house to Mukamana Annonciate, a widow residing in the Rwimbogo sector, Gatsibo district.

MUKAMANA Marceline, the vice-mayor in charge of social affairs in Gatsibo district, underscored the close collaboration with the RDF and other stakeholders involved in the ongoing Defense and Security citizen outreach program 2024 aimed at improving the lives of the citizens. She mentioned that this initiative launched in March 2024 intends to improve the well-being of the citizens countrywide and ensures that the district authority is committed to maintaining this collaboration to enhance the welfare of those requiring assistance.

MUKAMANA Annonciate who was provided with a newly constructed house, thanked His Excellency Paul Kagame, President of Rwanda, and the Rwanda Defence Force for remembering her and improving her life with the new house. "I want to express my gratitude to the President of the Republic and the Rwanda Defence Force for providing me with a new home. This house will significantly improve my life. I was previously in a difficult situation with my kids, but now I am happy to have a new house with electricity, beds, and chairs. I truly appreciate your support," She said.
