RDF AND RNP PERSONNEL COMPLETE CAREER COURSES IN GABIRO COMBAT TRAINING CENTRE

Over 450 officers and other ranks from the Rwanda Defence Force (RDF), Rwanda National Police (RNP), and Rwanda Correctional Service have successfully completed an intensive five-month military career course at the Combat Training Centre (CTC-Gabiro). The courses included training for Company Commanders, Platoon Commanders, Sergeant Majors, and Platoon Sergeants.
The rigorous training focused on enhancing their military skills, leadership abilities, command and control strategic thinking, and tactics marks a significant milestone in RDF’s ongoing efforts to professionalize its forces and prepare them for future challenges.
On behalf of the RDF Chief of Defence Staff, Maj Gen Denis Rutaha, the CTC-Gabiro Commandant officiated the ceremony and congratulated the graduates. He emphasized the importance of career courses and stressed that the skills and knowledge acquired were instrumental in addressing future challenges.
“I congratulate you for this achievement to you and the RDF at large the career course in RDF have a big role, remember the skills and knowledge acquired here today will help you to respond to the current challenges,” said Maj Gen Rutaha.
