RDF along with US Army medical personnel conduct medical outreach in Bugesera district
Bugesera, 7 August 2023
Rwanda Defence Force in collaboration with United States Africa Command (USAFRICOM) and Nebraska National Guard have today embarked on a five-day Joint Medical Outreach in Bugesera district due to culminate on 11 August 2023.
The Medical Outreach is taking place at Gashora and Ngeruka Health Centres with the aim of treating approximately 5000 patients according to Lt Col Dr John Bukuru from Rwanda Military Hospital.
The services to be provided will include Orthopedics, General Surgery, Internal Medicine, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, ENT (ear, nose and throat), Pediatrics, Dental and Clinical Psychology.
RDF is mandated to engage in various activities aimed at promoting the socio-economic development of Rwanda and ensuring the well-being of its citizens.
