Prime Minister Nsengiyumva visited Muvumba Multipurpose Dam and Gabiro Agribusiness Hub
On 11 July 2026, Prime Minister Nsengiyumva visited the Muvumba Multipurpose Dam Project in Nyagatare, a key investment in Rwanda’s sustainable development.
Once completed, the project will irrigate more than 10,000 hectares of farmland, generate electricity, and provide clean water for thousands of households, strengthening food security, livelihoods, and climate resilience.
He also toured the Gabiro Agri-Business Hub, where he commended investors for their confidence in Rwanda’s agriculture sector and reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to fostering investment, increasing agricultural productivity, strengthening food security, and creating sustainable livelihoods for Rwandans.
