A delegation of 27 senior military officers from the National Defence College of Nigeria is in Rwanda for a regional study tour from 18-25 May 2019. After the presentation, the leader of the visiting team spoke at lengths on their tour in Rwanda, thanking RDF for a warm welcome they extended so far to their delegation.
"Our visit in Rwanda is actually to confirm some of the things we have learned about Rwanda, to get them first-hand information rather than reading about them from secondary sources, participants expects to learn a lot especially what policies that facilitated Rwanda to recuperate from 1994 Genocide against Tutsi,” he added.
He also revealed the theme of their tour which is 'Tourism and National Development, Lessons for Nigeria' adding that tours like these fall within the regional studies module of the NDC curriculum.
