MWC GSMA 2026 comes to Rwanda: Hear from Industry Giants and Innovators from Across the Globe
In partnership with Rwanda’s Ministry of ICT & Innovation, GSMA’s MWC Kigali 2026 will bring industry leaders, innovators and policymakers to Kigali for one of Africa’s largest technology and connectivity events. The GSMA works on a variety of projects and key initiatives that address the collective interests of the mobile industry. They are involved in strategic intiatives across several areas in the mobile communications industry.
At this year’s conference, hear from government leaders, industry giants and innovators from across the globe as they explore the transformative tech and visionary ideas shaping Africa’s digital future. This year the overarching theme is The IQ Era. In a data-saturated world, it’s more important than ever for deep thinking, critical analysis and clarity of purpose to direct our actions. At MWC Kigali, the four conference themes – Connect AI, Fintech & Commerce, Digital Africa and Digital Infrastructure – offer a lens on how African markets are evolving, directly from those shaping them.
A new June date positions MWC Kigali as the definitive mid-year meeting point for the mobile ecosystem. It is the only show that brings both policy and industry together to advance Africa’s digital transformation.
MWC Kigali offers unrivalled opportunities for networking, learning about cutting-edge technologies and engaging with industry leaders and innovators from across the African continent and beyond. MWC26 Kigali is the meeting place for the African mobile ecosystem and offers a unique platform to connect with potential partners, clients and investors from around the world. Last year’s Ministerial Programme welcomed 49 government delegations from 33 countries and 16 intergovernmental organisations. Additionally this is the only event that gathers all six of the continent’s mobile network operators under one roof.
At this year’s MWC, hear from pan-African and international industry and government leaders of the highest calibre in our conference keynotes. Gain specialised, regionally relevant knowledge from GSMA experts in summits that cover a wide range of topics, providing valuable insight and strategies that can be applied in your own business. Listen to success stories and use cases from leading African businesses that offer proven solutions to help you forge a path to productivity and growth.
As Africa’s digital ecosystem continues to expand, MWC Kigali 2026 aims to place Rwanda at the center of conversations shaping the continent’s technological future.
