Minister Nduhungirehe Attends ICGLR Meeting in Zambia
Lusaka, 19 October 2026 – Minister Nduhungirehe attended the 20th Ordinary Session of the Regional Inter-Ministerial Committee (RIMC) of the International Conference on the Great Lakes Region, held in Zambia.
Opened by H.E. President Hakainde Hichilema of Zambia, the meeting brought together representatives of ICGLR Member States to review regional developments and discuss joint efforts to advance peace, security and stability across the Great Lakes Region.
On the sidelines of the ICGLR Regional Inter-Ministerial Committee meeting, Minister Nduhungirehe held a bilateral meeting with his Zambian counterpart, Hon. Mulambo Haimbe. Their discussions focused on strengthening bilateral relations between Rwanda and Zambia, as well as preparations for the upcoming Joint Permanent Commission scheduled for 2027.
