EASF CONCLUDES VERIFICATION OF RWANDA'S PLEDGED CAPABILITIES
Today at RDF Headquarters, Maj Gen Ephraim RURANGWA, Chief of Staff of the Military Health Service, presided over the closing ceremony of the six-day Eastern Africa Standby Force (EASF) verification exercise of Rwanda’s pledged capabilities.
In his remarks, Maj Gen RURANGWA emphasized that the strength of the EASF lies not only in the resources pledged by member states but also in the shared commitment, determination and cooperation that underpin them.

He noted that the exercise had provided an important opportunity to review Rwanda’s pledged capabilities, strengthen coordination and identify areas requiring further improvement.
Led by the Director of the Eastern Africa Standby Force, Brig Gen Ronald RWIVANGA, the exercise assessed Rwanda’s military, police and civilian capabilities to determine their readiness, operational effectiveness and ability to support regional peace support operations whenever required.
