COMMANDANTS OF EAC PARTNER STATES’ ARMED FORCES SENIOR COMMAND AND STAFF COLLEGES MEET IN KIGALI

Commandants from the Armed Forces' Senior Command and Staff Colleges of East African Community (EAC) Partner States gathered today in Kigali for their biannual meeting. The agenda focused on evaluating the current status of cooperation in training and assessing the progress in implementing previous decisions made by the sectoral council on defence cooperation.
During the meeting, participants engaged in various presentations, discussing and exchanging experiences on the conduct of their academic programmes. The discussions aimed to further harmonise teaching curriculums and facilitate the exchange of students among the colleges.
This ongoing curriculum harmonisation effort is part of the EAC defence cooperation, guided by the mandate provided under Article 2 of the EAC Protocol on Cooperation in Defence Affairs.
