RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE AIR FORCE
The Air Force has the following responsibilities:
to defend Rwandan airspace by providing prompt and sustained offensive and defensive air operations;
to provide support in humanitarian activities, both domestically and abroad, in case of disasters, search and rescue operations, or firefighting, whenever considered necessary;
to provide support to civil agencies in the management of air space.
